Masterful Integrations: Seamless Unions of Indoor Excellence and Outdoor Majesty
Set back from the streetscape in Mount Nelson is a private retreat hidden amongst the trees.
Here, the outside world is observed through deliberate glimpses of serenity and blurred transitions that intensify this relationship.
The eye is immediately drawn to the view using a simple, clean palette. The vanity in the main ensuite has been designed as a privacy screen, offering lucidity with a glass base, allowing the connection to the exterior and filling the space with light. It’s seamless and cohesive, yet private.
Sculpting Simplicity and Functionality: Elite Choices in Bathroom Fittings
The crispness of the Arcisan above counter basin was a perfect choice, as the minimal design allows for the focus to be the view. It’s easy to clean, a no ‘fuss’ solution. It allows for a sleek and refined sense of luxury that is imperative for immersion and escapism. Pairing it with a Brodware plug and waste ensures every element has been considered.
The concept involved dozens of sketches to refine and ultimately find the right solution. The Brodware City range of fittings in Aged Iron reinforces the connection to the earthy tones in the landscape, along with the warm hues of the Polytec Natio Walnut vanity. The Brodware City Plus overhead shower round almost completely disappears from sight.
Balancing Effortless Maintenance and Sumptuous Design
The family bathroom needed to be ‘easy to clean’. We approached this with a mindset of having a wet and dry zone. One area can be easily hosed down while the other remains dry and has a space to soak in and absorb the quiet bush surroundings. The Decina Aria Back to Wall Freestanding bath in acrylic allowed this while being cost-effective, durable and easy to keep clean. It gives the perception of a freestanding bath while economising on space.
Converting Vision into Reality
Jak Allie Constructions perfectly executed our design. Staying true to the design is a trait that is highly valued in our practice. One of respect and communication, which is paramount in all areas. The tiling in this project is the best we have seen. Luke Helmers Tiling, meticulously crafting every single mitred edge. It is impossible to fault the workmanship.
Combined with Elite Appliances and the care they take to ensure we find the perfect finish for every application, the outcome is pure luxury, similar to walking into a hotel
suite. One where the outside seamlessly blends with the inside. After all, we all long for those moments to escape, and our worries simply float away.
